- DUAL CLUTCH TRANSMISSION (DCT)
Drive the way you want, with the industrys first and only six-speed Dual Clutch Transmission. Choose between manual mode or fully automatic. Plus, the addition of Sport Mode increases the fun, shifting at higher RPM for a spirited, full-performance driving experience.
CHASSIS & SUSPENSION- ELECTRIC POWER STEERING
This is something were really proud of. Honda pioneered (no pun intended) electric power steering on our side-by-sides. And weve never stopped making it better. Every Pioneer 1000 EPS system features a brushless motor integrated with the ECU. The return-to-centre function makes it intuitive on straight trails, and the whole system feels responsive and linear.
- INDEPENDENT FRONT AND REAR SUSPENSION
Dual A-arm suspension gives you 10.5 inches of travel in the front, and 10-inches of travel in the rear. Pair that with stellar ground clearance, and you maximize available traction and superior comfort maneuvering over terrain other side-by-sides would shy away from.
ADDITIONAL- ROOMY SEATING
The three-person Pioneer 1000 EPS features a spacious bench the middle seat is positioned up and forward to maximize comfort and room.
- POWERFUL TOWING
You can load a full half-ton (1,000 lb) into the bed. And when its time to unload, the beds hydraulic-assisted tilting feature makes dumping firewood, gravel, feed or other items easy. And because its able to tow a full ton (2,500 lb) with a hitch mount the Pioneer 1000 can take on big jobs that otherwise would require a tractor or a truck.
