In 1965 Honda was sold through distributers and in Western Canada that was Fred Deeley Ltd. and when Fred Deeley son, Canadian Hall of Fame member Trev Deeley convinced his dad to become the Honda distributer in Canada they became the third distributer in the English speaking world. The Honda Centre then located at 145 Robson Street in Vancouver was one of the first Honda dealers. In 1665 there was a superb line up of products and Honda attracted a whole new rider base with, what is now recognized as one of the best advertising campaigns in history. The slogan "You Meet The Nicest People on a Honda" became the reality to a whole new generation of riders.
